A Wacky Weekend.

I bought the first season of Kids in the Hall on Friday. I have not watched Kids in the Hall in years, and Lisa had heard of it but never seen it, so it was worth the $25. For 8 hours of mostly uninterrupted of old school Canadian comedy? Oh hell yes. I’ll admit that I’m not always laughing while it’s on, but some of the material these guys come up with is off the wall. Justin says he doesn’t get it, but he watches it with us anyways. I can only assume that he is giving it his best effort to try and figure it out. Haha, no worries dude.

Brandon hung out with us on Friday while we watched Kids. He played a ton of God of War, and later on challenged me to “DBZ: BT3″ on the PS2. There was a few good fights, but I really feel like playing in some different modes has upped my playing to the next level. Pick up your sticks Brandon, I’m gonna spank ya!

I forgot my cellphone at Lisa’s mom’s house on friday, so I’ve been without it all weekend. I wasn’t able to meet up with a few friends that were going to come to the Captial Ex with us, and I’m sure more than a few people tried to call me. Still, I have got to start keeping an contact book seperate from my phone.

Crunch Time

No this post is not a chocolate bar endorsement, but you should buy it anyways. Only 3 weeks and 2 days left until I’m actually in Vancouver! In the last three weeks I have to deal with a few central issues:

  • Having a going away party of biblical proportions.
  • Celebrating my 20th birthday a month early.
  • Packing.
  • Receive a birthday present in the form of a tattoo!
Somehow I have to balance my money wisely in between all that.
I’m pretty excited to find out that I’ll have a few friends in Vancouver already. My friend from work, Eric, is going to be visiting his sister in august, and she lives about 30 minutes away from us! He’ll also be moving there by next year. There is a few other people I know as well, but none of interest at this particular point in time. You can bet they’ll make it into future updates! Right now though, I have some laundry that needs to be dealt with. And by dealt with, I mean violently.
